Jan is a German artist based in Stuttgart. With a deep interest in design, fashion and the inexhaustable beauty of everyday life Jan´s art draws from different influences and materials. His credo: aesthetics first! Contrary to fast and scalable circles of trends and mass-products his pieces intend to be timeless and some sort of special. Within his art he finds the joy of imperfection and steady development.
It was actually his mom who sparked his interest in arts some years ago and he is working on his skills and portfolio ever since. In the process Jan recognizes the value of craftsmanship and the outlet of creativity in every step. His ambition is to enjoy the path as much as the final result as it gives him the freedom of choice and the balance he needs.
Jan´s latest works under the motto ‚endless layers‘ combine paint, water and papercuts ending up in wonderfully chaotic yet smooth art pieces. Jan´s overarching effort is to make the location where his artworks are installed ultimately more beautiful and interesting.
